All youth intending to show a beef animal at the Southern Utah Junior Livestock Show August 4-7, 2015 MUST have their steer tagged on Saturday, April 11th. Stock show volunteers will be at the Johnson Feedlot in Aurora from 8-9:30 a.m. to tag animals. If, for some reason, the exhibitor is unable to attend the tagging day, that is okay; but all steers must be tagged during this event. Beef animals should be around 750-950 by this date to gain an average of 3 pounds per day and make the appropriate weights (1100-1400 lbs.) by show time.
There will be a $5/per animal tag fee. Please bring cash or check payable to SUJLS.
We prefer all 4-H youth to be enrolled (including the $5 enrollment fee) PRIOR to weigh-in day. 4-H enrollment includes accident insurance - if you're working with your 4-H project, you will want this coverage!
