Happily Ever After Family Fun Run

What a better why to exercise and have fun at the same time.  This last Saturday the teen council and jr. teen council put on a Disney inspired fun run obstacle course for teams of five.  They had many fun obstacles to complete in order to make it the happily ever after.  Each team member had to be there to support each other at the different stops they each had got a turn to do an event.  Our challenges were set around Disney movies; Mary Poppins, Cars, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Little Mermaid, UP, and Toy Story.  Each one had a unique challenge.

UP

UP- Who is the quickest at blowing up their balloon and popping it.

The Little Mermaid

The Little Mermaid-Most everyone knows some little song and that the little mermaid is all about  singing

Cars

Cars- Everyone needs a good traffic cop to keep them in line when skipping from one place to another.

 Mary Poppins

Mary Poppins- "A spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down"  one spoonful at a a time to fill a pot

 Toy Story

Toy Story-Those pesky little army up to it again, lets get them knocked down .

 Pirates of the Caribbean 

Pirates-Win the fight through the water and guzzle down the hot dog to it out.

 Make and Take

What a better way to end off a nice race by doing a few crafts, from a Captain Hook hook to a Princess/Prince wands.
