Time to register your exhibits!
It's time to get ready for the Fair!
We hope you'll consider exhibiting 4-H items at the 2016 Sevier County Fair. Please browse the following info and links to find all you need to know.(note: we apologize if you receive this info more than once)
Why exhibit in the Fair?
1. Help us showcase the 4-H program to the community so we can build the program.
2. Your exhibit might qualify to go to the Utah State Fair and you'll get a free ticket to go see it on display there.
3. Every exhibit gets a ribbon and every ribbon is worth some cash! $$ Now that's a WIN-WIN!!
Here's what we need to know:
- If your child attended Out Shoot the Sheriff (Sept 2015), CSI Adventure (Oct 2015), or a Fab Friday (Oct, Nov, Jan, or Feb) please click HERE to register your exhibit.
- If your child attended any classes at the Sugar Bean Bakery during Oct 2015-Aug 2016 click HERE to register your exhibits.
- If your child attended Club Zoom, Club Design, Brain Teasers or Sustainable YOU! Camp click HERE to register your exhibits.
- If your child was in grades K-2 last school year (Cloverbuds) and made items at 4-H (including summer literacy program) they can bring 3 of them to the fair. Tell us about those exhibits HERE.
- If your child attended any events in the North Sevier area (gaming club, Tic-Tac-Toe, beading, weaving, CPR) please contact Phyllis at 435-201-2006 about getting your items to the fair.
- If you completed 4-H projects as a family or independent club/group you can view a full listing of 4-H exhibit classes HERE. After you find what class(es) you'd like to exhibit in you can click HERE to let us know what you'll be bringing.

It's contest time!
Calling all 4-Hers!
It's time to prepare
for our annual 4-H contests! These contests are open to 4-H members of
all ages and all project areas; this contest is a qualifier event for high
school youth to participate at the State level. Here's the scoop:Wednesday, June 29th: From 9-3 at the Richfield LDS Youth Center (91 S 200 W, Richfield) we'll have Demonstrations, Speaking (Impromptu, Public Speaking), Talent, Prepared Video Production, Consumer Bowl, and Cooking contests.
Not sure what to do? A demonstration is a great place to start! In a Demonstration you pick a subject you know how to do (build a rope halter, tie your shoes, make a PB&J sandwich - the options are endless!) and show the judges how to do it! Easy pea-sy!
Why do contests? This year each participant will be eligible for PRIZES and the top participants will earn a spot to participate in a showcase at the 2016 Sevier County Fair!
More information on each contest can be found below.
All participants must pre-register by Friday, June 24th. Click HERE to sign up for your spot!

4-H Robot Season is Almost Here!
[News clipping from last season's robot tournament]
4-H Robot season begins in May!
Interested in joining or coaching a 4-H robotics team this season?
Tell us you're interested HERE.
Last season, one of our own local 4-H teams, the Golden S'mores, took 2nd place at the Qualifying Tournament in Richfield.
This season, we want to send even more teams, and go to state!
How do I enroll in 4-H?
Youth may enroll in 4-H by visiting 4Honline or by visiting the 4-H office. Remember, youth must be enrolled in 4-H prior to participating in a LEGO Robotics team through Sevier County 4-H.

Why participate through 4-H?
Teams that participate through 4-H can checkout robotics kits for FREE through the 4-H office, get help with fundraising, and receive tons of support throughout the FLL season.
When will LEGO Robotics team meetings begin?
Once we have Coaches, we will begin to sort teams according to Coach availability and location. If you have told us that you are interested HERE, you will receive notice about the When and the Where as soon as Coaches are available.
